Xiaomi announces new iteration Mi Ecosystem Products in China

Xiaomi announces three new Mi Ecosystem products at an event in China. The Mi Laser Projector, Ninebot Plus, and Mi Ultrasonic Toothbrush are the new additions to the company Ecosystem platform and are based on Xiaomi’s smart hardware platform. Let’s have a look at these products individually.

  • Mi Laser Projector– After two year of research and development, Xiaomi up with this unique and powerful laser projector. It features the ALPD 3.0 laser light source technology developed by Appotronics and custom DLP solutions which are developed by Texas Instruments. The projector offers 150 inches of projection with wide color gamut, 5000 lumens of brightness and 3000:1 native contrast. It has inbuilt 4 high-power speakers with Dolby Digital and DTS technologies. It comes with 3 HDMI ports, 1 USB 3.0 port, 1 audio output port, 1 AV input, and 1 Ethernet port. The projector is priced at 9999/ yuan (Rs 95,020) and will go on sale from 4 July via crowdfunding on Xiaomi’s apps.Xiaomi Mi Laser Projector
  • Ninebot Plus– It is an overall upgrade from the popular Ninebot Mini. This time the chassis is made from Magnesium alloy and supports up to 100 Kgs of the load and can travel 35kms on a single charge. Furthermore, the users can control its movement through remote control and also snaps some picture with an optional Mi Ninebot Plus camera that has 3-axis OIS, 1080p Full HD video recording, 104-degrees wide angle to record video real time.   • Mi Ultrasonic Toothbrush– This unique yet powerful toothbrush operates through Ultrasonic technology; it vibrates up to approx. 516 times per second for efficient cleaning. The Mi Ultrasonic Toothbrush is powered by 700 mAh of Li-ion battery and can last for 18 days on a single charge. Nevertheless, Xiaomi has tasted success with the previous generation and has cemented its position as a top IoT player in the Chinese market right now. The company is looking forward make a footprint in the foreign market too and let’s hope India to be one among them.
