Western Digital has announced its new range of solid-state Drives for the Indian market. The company said that its latest SSDs caters to every category of consumers, be it a high-end PC gamer or a first time PC user. The company latest portfolio of products includes the WD Black NVMe SSD, WD Blue SSD, and WD Green SATA SSD.
The WD Black SN750 NVMe SSD is designed to meet high-end requirements. Based on Western Digital’s 64-layer 3D NAND technology, the WD Black SN750 NVMe SSD offers up to 2TB capacity and is based on a single-sided M.2 form factor. It comes with an integrated heatsink to help maintain speed and optimum temperature. The SSD caters to the requirements of high-end gamers to deliver bandwidths and cope with the multi-tasking demands of processor-intensive computing. It is targetted at gamers, video editors, and other users to address several challenges such as top-notch performance and high-level data transfer speeds for large file sizes.
The 1TB model is rated to deliver up to 515,000 random-read and 560000 random-write IOPS to address the requirements of multi-thread applications and data-heavy scenarios. The company explains this allows high responsiveness while accessing multiple files in various locations and while saving in-game progress during gameplay.
