Vodafone unlimited roaming plans with 6GB 3G/4G data starts at Rs. 1699

With Reliance Jio having facing rough weather with its launching of Jio services in India, existing players are trying to hold fast on their base and coming up with new plans to increase customer loyalty. Service providers are offering sops in rapid succession in a market which has become increasingly competitive. The consumer loves it and is the final beneficiary. Vodafone is offering unlimited voice calling and free incoming for roaming coupled with 6 GB data. It is also offering a postpaid plan with unlimited roaming voice calling and 8 GB data for Rs. 1,999 per month.

The new plans were launched by Director – Commercial, Vodafone India, Sandeep Kataria, who said that the postpaid consumers matured and evolved into ever increasing usage of roaming and data. The latest offering from Vodafone Red is giving all-in-one-plan which takes care of all needs of the consumer for roaming, data and voice effectively.

Vodafone is also trying to attract more customers towards its Red experience and has launched some entry-level postpaid offers priced at Rs. 499, Rs. 699, and Rs. 999 with twice the data benefits and tempting talk time.

Other service providers are not far behind, and they are also offering better plans with more data. Airtel launched its ‘myPlan Infinity’ which offers postpaid users unlimited voice calling starting at Rs. 1,199. It also includes local STD and roaming calls which will be available for all postpaid customers.

Additionally, the plan will offer 100 free SMS every day, unlimited free calling, free subscription to Wynn Movies/Wynk Music and 1GB of 3G/4G data. If you ready to spend another 400 rupees, you can get everything which the Rs. 1,199 offers but you will get 5GB of 3G/4G data. For Rs. 2,999 users can get 20 GB data.

The state-run BSNL is also in the fray and is offering unlimited free voice calling to any landline or mobile number across the nation on all Sundays starting from August 15. Aircel is also offering ‘Aircel KaAzaadi Offer’ to all its consumers which allow unlimited calling to the local network and unlimited data with a one-day validity for Rs. 123.
