Vodafone starts doling out 4g-ready SIMs in Mumbai

Vodafone is giving final touches for launching its 4G services in Mumbai. It has announced today that it will be making available 4G SIMs for its consumers. Consumers can have these 4G SIMs from any of Vodafone’s 56 exclusive stores situated at prominent locations in and around Mumbai.

Vodafone is making all efforts to ensure a smooth and flawless exchange of 4G- SIMs and these are being made available in advance for the launch of the Vodafone 4G services in Mumbai. Vodafone will be making a formal announcement soon.

The Economic Times has said Vodafone will start its 4G services in the country by December though it did not give any date for the launch.

Vodafone India happens to be the second largest telecom operators in the country has already launched its 4G services in Kerala, and it will continue to launch its services in major cities like Kolkata, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Delhi to be launched in March 2016. A statement to this effect was made by the company.

Vodafone India Business Head Mumbai Ishmeet Singh said that Vodafone wants its customers to be ready for the 4G experience and get the benefits of high-speed internet services when it is launched commercially. We have an 8.6 million consumer in Mumbai, and they will have a lot to look forward.  It is just homework to upgrade to 4G ready SIM in advance.

Vodafone is fully geared up for the launch of 4G services in Mumbai according to Singh in the 1800 Mhz band in Mumbai very soon.

Vodafone has also ensured home delivery of 4G-ready SIMs for its select high niche consumers in Mumbai. Vodafone has already sent a formal communication to all its consumers in Mumbai with the details of all the schemes.

As per convenience, Vodafone subscribers can go and upgrade their SIMs to 4G enabled SIMs in 56 stores across Mumbai.
