Videocon Mobile has unveiled Infinium Z45 Nova that powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor, a dual core Mali 400 GPU and 1GB of RAM. The company had made the device available exclusively on India’s leading e-commerce marketplace Flipkart.
The launch has added one more phone to the lineup of budget smartphones in Indian markets. The phone runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat and is upgradable to the next Android release.
Infinium Z45 comes with an 8 GB of internal storage, expandable up to 32 GB with external memory support. It is powered by a 1700 mAh battery.
The device is enabled with a 5 MP auto-focus rear camera, 2 MP front camera and a range of connectivity and utility features. Videocon Infinium Z45 is a dual SIM 3G smartphone with 21.2 Mbps HSPA+, 5.76 Mbps HSUPA, GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and FM Radio with recording.
Videocon is also offering three months free subscription of a GPS powered personal safety V-Safe app and V-Secure mobile security app with its new smartphone. It also features advanced power-saver option to enable longer battery life and longer duration of usage.
The company has designed the 8.5 mm slim phone with a focus on younger customer base. Currently, it is available in Pristine White and Sparkling Black color options.
Jerold Pereira, CEO of Videocon Mobile Phones, said that the company understands the evolving consumer need of having smartphone experience at a value-for-money pricing.
Videocon is attempting the same within sub-INR 5,000 price ranges for the Indian consumers. The Infinium Z45 Nova is packed with features resembling top smartphones to redefine the budget category for these devices.
Pereira added that Videocon is seeking mass proliferation for the budget devices and is expecting to achieve the same in partnership with India’s leading e-commerce platform.
