Entry-level Xiaomi Redmi 3A to feature 4000mAh battery and 13MP camera

Xiaomi will launch yet another entry-level priced smartphone with high utility. Dubbed as we Redmi 3A, the phone will come along with a 4,000mAh battery and will target entry-level users who look for long battery life.

According to leaked information and images, the upcoming Xiaomi Redmi 3A is expected to come with a 5” display screen with a resolution of 1720 x 1280 pixels. The device will be powered by an octa-core 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 chipset along with an Adreno 505 GPU kit. The device will offer 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded with a microSD card as well as 2GB of RAM.

The rear of the Redmi 3A will house a 13MP camera and the front face of the device will have a 5MP lens. The phone will come with support for LTE networks with a CAT7 LTE modem and as well the latest class of Wi-Fi networking. The phone will ship with the company’s MIUI based on Android’s Marshmallow 6.0.1 and as said earlier will be powered by a powerful 4,000mAh battery that will offer long usage cycles.

The device is expected to be made available in the colors of Silver and Gold. No information about whether the Redmi 3A will be available for sale with openly or through prior registrations has been disclosed.

Starting the 1st of June, Xiaomi will put up their best-seller, the Redmi Note 3 along with their Mi 5 for open sale. The Redmi Note 3 will be available on the Mi.com site as well as through official online retail partners Flipkart, Amazon, and Snapdeal. The Mi 5 will also go on open sale but will be available to purchase exclusively through the Mi.com site.
