Two new Xiaomi Redmi smartphones with Snapdragon 625, 3GB RAM spotted online

Xiaomi is launching its products in quick succession. It had recently launched its biggest smartphone, the Mi Max in India. Now there are rumors that it is in the process of launching another premium class smartphones shortly.

Two new smartphones have been spotted online with certificate numbers 2,016,020 and 2,016,021. They have been spotted on 29 June 2016 on the website of China’s National Quality Certification Center. The leaks do not reveal much about the two models; experts opine that they could be the new Redmi series smartphones or could be entirely new variants of the Max smartphone.

Another report talks about the new Xiaomi phone code named ‘Markw’. The new device with Geekbench scores has been leaked recently. It could be the Redmi Note 3 model or Redmi 4. Both the devices have impressive Geekbench scores, and they could be completely new models also.

It is great news since the Chinese device maker had recently launched its Mi Max in India and there is already news that it is readying for another launch. The ‘Markw’ code-named device scored 923 single core and 4,537 twin core points which are incredible by all standards.

According to the information, the latest device carries a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor complimented with Adreno 506 GPU. The device will run on the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS platform and boasts a 3GB RAM. No information is available about the names of the new devices, increasing speculation that the new device could be another iteration of the Redmi Note series.
