Infinity Display:

Samsung Galaxy Note comes with the same Infinity Display as Galaxy S8 and S8+, but in Galaxy Note 8, it comes with square design falling in line with the other Note series phones. The display is a 6.3 inches Super AMOLED panel with 1440 x 2960 pixels resolution and 521 PPI pixel density. The display is crisp, and even though the display is more than 6 inches, you can easily hold it in your hand without any problem.

Because it is a Super AMOLED panel which is the best smartphone display ever built. The content looks vivid and crisp; the blacks are blacks and whites are whites. The contrast and the color gamut of the content are amazing. The biggest highlight of this display is the smaller top and bottom bezels and curved edges which give a bezel less experience.

S-Pen has always been in the spotlight in Galaxy Note series smartphones. It has been evolved a lot since the first Galaxy Note smartphone. Now we are here looking at the most amazing stylus ever. The stylus looks similar to the one from the Note 5 and Note FE with a clicky top which helps in keeping the S-Pen in smartphone’s cavity.

The S-Pen doesn’t need any charging or pairing to work on the device; you just have to pull it out and start writing. This time the pressure levels in S-Pen is 4096, which is the highest pressure levels in any stylus ever built. The tip of the new S-Pen is finer than one in previous Galaxy Note smartphones.

This is the first time Samsung has added a dual camera setup on its flagship device. Galaxy Note 8 features two 12MP sensors at the back of the phone with the conventional HR sensor and LED flash. Both the sensors on Galaxy Note 8 comes with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) in both the sensors, so you don’t need to worry about blur images when zoomed in.

The camera has a lot of modes included that you can optically zoom in up to 2X. But the most fantastic mode is the dual shot and Live Focus mode. Dual Shot mode captures two pictures each from both sensors. The Live Focus mode lets you change focus in the view finder; the focus can also be adjusted after capturing the feature.

Bixby is the Samsung’s assistant which can be remapped to do complex actions on the smartphone using simple commands. The phone has a dedicated Bixby button which launches the Bixby panel which has all your feeds and updates from the day. Keeping the button pressed will let you say the commands directly to the Bixby.

The controls can be remapped like you can say “Good Night” to Bixby and it will enable the do not disturb mode, enable night mode and set your usual alarm just with a single command. The Bixby assistant can understand general phrases; you don’t have to talk to it like a robot.

App Pairing:

Samsung took the multitasking mode to another level, as you know you can run two apps simultaneously. Samsung took it to the next level; now you can pair two apps in the apps edge panel which you frequently use in multi view mode. Once you set it, you can launch both of the apps with a single tap in multi view mode.
