Design and Build
The Tagg Turbo 20000 mAh power bank looks quite sleek and premium, thanks to the black colour profile and metallic build.
One side is plain and minimal while the other gets an illuminated Tagg badging. A 4-LED power indicator and a power button sit inside the carbon fibre strip that runs down the length of the power bank. Note that the power bank has auto on/off feature and the power switch is given just to check the battery level.
Coming to the top, you get dual USB type-A ports for charging devices, each offering a maximum current output of 2.4A. In between resides a micro USB port for charging the power bank itself.
The power bank weighs about 370 grams, which might be a deal-breaker for some. However, equal weight distribution makes it is easy to carry on commute. You can carry it in your pocket as well.
Performance
As the name suggests, the Tagg Turbo 20000 power bank comes with a total capacity of 20,000 milliampere-hour. Furthermore, it is powered by six powerful lithium-ion cells of 3350mAh each and offers support for fast charging.
As for the charging time, the power bank takes almost 10 hours to charge from 0 to 100% using a 10W charger, due to the high capacity cells. Thanks to dual USB ports, you can charge up to two smartphones simultaneously with this power bank.
We tried connecting two phones at a time, and both were able to pull 1800-1900mA of current easily. With a high-efficiency rate, the Tagg Turbo 20000 died while charging my Pixel 2 XL (3,500mAh battery) for the fifth time. Hence, it’s quite reliable for long journeys and commute hours.
Besides, the power bank also comes with some multiple safety features. This includes protection from overheating, voltage fluctuation and short circuit. Moreover, the PCB itself comes with surge protection properties and is BIS certified. In my usage, the power bank didn’t exhibit any heating issues, be it while being charged or while charging my phone.

Certainly, the Tagg Turbo 20000 mAh power bank is a solid built and reliable battery pack at its price point. Unfortunately, it loses points in value for money factor, provided that it isn’t priced as aggressively as other brands like Xiaomi.
That said, as an additional perk, the company is offering a 1-year replacement warranty compared to Xiaomi, which offers just 6-months warranty for its portable battery packs. The power bank can be bought from major online stores including Amazon & Flipkart.
