Suzuki Motorcycle India has launched two models of All Terrain Vehicles (ATVs) in the country, a move that expands the company’s product line in India. The two ATV models are Ozark 250 and Quadsport Z400, with the latter being a high-performance machine featuring a sporty chassis.

Japanese manufacturer, Suzuki is expanding its product line and category in the Indian market. Through its India arm, Suzuki Motorcycle India, the company this weekend unveiled two ATV models, which are apparently targeted at two different market segments.

The Ozark 250 Model

Suzuki’s Ozark 250 ATV model features a 245cc 4-stroke air-cooled engine. The vehicle is also equipped with automatic clutch technology as well as an array of other standard ATV features. The Ozark 250 ATV is designed for leisure activities.

Suzuki said the Ozark 250 ATV model will normally cost Rs. 5.45 lakhs.

The Quadsport Z400 Model

Quadsport Z400 Model

Suzuki’s Quadsport Z400 ATV is an off-road, high-performance sporty ATV model, which is powered by a 398cc 4-stroke liquid-cooled engine. The engine is capable of doing 5-speed transmission.

The company said that Quadsport Z400 will normally cost Rs. 8.50 lakhs.

Availability of Ozark 250 and Quadsport Z400

Suzuki said its flagship ATVs will initially be sold through authorized dealers in select regions in India such as Mumbai, Delhi, and Pune. Customers can also buy the Suzuki’s ATVs from authorized dealers in Jodhpur, Hyderabad, Bangalore, and Kolkata.

According to Suzuki Motorcycle India’s Masayoshi Ito, the launch of Ozark 250 and Quadsport Z400 ATV models in the country serves several purposes for the company.

First, the move expands Suzuki’s product portfolio in India and second, it enables the company to demonstrate its expertise in various product categories.

The launch of the two ATV models in India is expected to pave the way for Suzuki to introduce more products in categories it has not yet dominated or gained a significant foothold in the country.
