Sony Corp has launched its 15000mAh power bank and 20000mAh power bank in India. The two brand new power banks from Sony comes with Lithium-ion Polymer battery cells. The power banks are capable of charging multiple devices simultaneously. They also come equipped with the support for fast charging technology.
The gadgets also support pass-through charging which enables users to fully use the power banks while they are being charged. This way you can charge your smartphone or other electronic devices while charging your power bank concurrently.
Sony claims to have manufactured the power banks using the company’s Hybrid Gel Technology making then one of the safest and best quality devices in the market. The power banks are manufactured for heavy duty and even after 1000 charging and discharging cycles, they are capable of retaining 90 percent of their total capacity.

The devices have inbuilt protection for overcharging and short circuit with constant monitoring of internal temperature. The power banks are also swelling and leakage proof due to the Hybrid Gel Technology.
The 15000 mAH power bank comes with two USB ports and maximum output capacity of 3.9 Ampere. This model has a dimension of 13.3 X 7.6 X 2.39 cubic cm and weighs 390 grams. The 15000 mAH power bank comes in Black and Silver colour options.

The 20000 mAH power bank carries four USB ports and can output a maximum 6.9 Ampere of current. This variant has a volume of 13.8 X 7.8 X 3.06 cubic cm and weighs 510 grams. It is only available in Black colour.
The power banks also come with BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) certification for added assurance. Sony provides a one-year warranty for both the power banks. The 15000 mAh power bank costs Rs. 5,100, while the 20000 mAh model is priced at Rs. 7,500. All the variants are now available for purchase exclusively on Flipkart. They will also be sold in various offline stores including Sony Centres from 15th August onwards.
