Smartron has established a partnership with Redington India Limited to distribute their high-performance premium Smartron tbook across all major retail stores in India. The deal is to push sales of their flagship Windows 10 convertible across major cities in southern India. Launched in April 2016, Smartron tbook was till recently available only via online through Smartron.com, Gadgets 360 in addition to Amazon India. The launch of Smartron tbook in offline space will enable the company to expand their current user base. This is because customers can touch and feel the device before deciding to purchase the device, which is not possible in the online world. However, the tbook will continue to be available online despite introducing them in offline stores.
Smartron tbook uniform price fixed
Available at a uniform price of Rs. 42,999, the Smartron tbook is aimed at enhancing the user experience. The premium mobile workstation is developed based on the concept of Internet of trons (IoT), which is designed to deliver the tron experience. Equipped with tstore, tcloud, and tcare, the device provides the user with a platform to experience unique Smartron services without any performance lags.
Commenting on the development, Mahesh Lingareddy, Founder & Chairman, Smartron India disclosed that the tbook was the first product manufactured by the company. It has received a tremendous response within the short span of time. He added that Smartron tbook is a combination of tablet and workstation, which has a distinctive dual tone styling with an all-metal unibody.
Lingareddy further added that by establishing a partnership with Redington, the company hopes to reach a wider consumer base. Moreover, it will provide them an opportunity to experience not only Smartron tbook but also other products and services.

The company has developed a very promising, premium and uniquely styled tbook, which showcases innovation in design and development capabilities in the technology sector.
Neogi also told reporters that Smartron has shown to the outside world that India is not far behind other major manufacturing countries. The company has developed a brand that has the capability to go global.
Redington is committed to promoting Made in India devices and the latest partnership with Smartron is a step in right directions, adds Neogi.

Smartron tbook features a 12.2-inch WQXGA (2560×1600) IPS display, Intel CoreM 64-bit processor, 4GB RAM, 128GB SSD expandable (up to 128GB) storage space, 5MP rear camera, 2MP front-facing snapper, two USB 3.0 ports, USB Type-C port for charging, 37Whr battery loaded with Windows 10 Home.
The display of the device automatically shuts down as soon as you close the keyboard with the help of Hall sensor. You will be able to establish connectivity with the external keyboard via magnetic pogo pin. The device ships with free 30 days Office 2016 trial package.
In addition to Smartron tbook, the company also manufactures Smartron tphone, which ships with a 5.5-inch FHD AMOLED display, Snapdragon 810 processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB storage space, 13MP/4MP camera alongside other features.
