Smart Cities Expo 2016: IOTEX releases XWATCH KIDS starting at Rs.3,599

IOTEX showcased its new XWATCH KIDS on May 12, 2016. The Smartwatch has been specially designed for a kid’s safety as well as utility. The XWATCH KIDS is available in two colours Blue and Pink, that can be purchased for a price of Rs.3,599.

The IOTEX XWATCH KIDS comes with silicone wrist straps and the functionality for a 2-way conversation telephone conversation; along with being able to tell you the time. The watch is also integrated with a Ublox GPS chipset so parents can be aware of their child’s whereabouts. The

Landmarks and important places can be preset, so a parent receives an intimation when their child enters and leaves their school, place of tutoring or even their friend’s home.

The IOTEX KIDS has been made available through most online retail portals like Amazon, Flipkart, FirstCry and Snapdeal along with being available at IOTEX’s own website.

The XWATCH Kids houses a decent 600mAh battery that allows you a talk time of approximately 360 minutes. The smartwatch runs on a MediaTek MTK6261 GSM chipset and also houses a 0.64” OLED display that tells you the time, along with being waterproof up to a certain extent.
