Some more spice has been added to the earlier leaks and rumors of Samsung Galaxy S7 flagship smartphone as some new images have arrived, highlighting the design of the handset’s cover cases. With these images, we get a fair idea of Galaxy S7’s design along with a hint that this new variant might be called Galaxy S7 Plus.
As per the new images, there is a rectangular home button right below the display, power button on the right, volume button on the left and a protruding rear camera.
Although the images display the rear camera as well as its LED Flash setup, not much is revealed about the smartphone. Cover cases are seen in Pink, Black, Red, Purple and Blue color variants. There are rumors that the speaker grille, headphone port and USB port are placed at the bottom. It is also said that the ‘Plus’ model would sport a larger display.
Earlier, there were reports that Samsung would announce the launch of Galaxy S7 next year in the month of March. Until now, there are rumors that the phone would be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 Processor in selected regions and Exynos 8 Octa 8890 in others.
With an agreement with Qualcomm, Samsung gets an access to the chipset till April 2016. It suggests that S7 would be the first smartphone to have the latest offering by Qualcomm. It is also tipped to sport a 5.2 inch 3D Touch-like pressure sensitive display, similar to that of Apple iPhone 6s Plus and iPhone 6s.
