Samsung exclusive experience store now open in New Delhi

Korean giant Samsung has opened its largest exclusive experience store in New Delhi’s South Extension, spread across 3,500 sq.ft. The Samsung store will offer an immersive experience for consumers. The store features a 4D chair which uses hydraulics to offer a real-life immersive experience. It can imitate the movements of the Gear VR making it a one-of-a-kind Gear VR experience. Besides, the store also has a device unboxing and setup area, to offer a personalized setup to customers allowing them to Walk out Working (Wow).  All this makes it the first exclusive Samsung store in the country to offer such an experience. In addition, the store will offer pick up and drop services, operator zones, along with training workshops.

According to Samsung, the store will raise the bar and set new benchmarks in terms of how consumers experience and buy the company’s products and technology.

“This store is a testimony to our commitment to our consumers and partners, and our endeavor is to offer an enhanced experience to everyone. The exclusive store aims to be a one-stop-shop, which will fulfill all the mobility demands of consumers spanning across devices, wearables, and accessories with affordable finance options,” Sandeep Singh Arora, Vice President, Retail Operations and Marketing, Mobile Business, Samsung India, said.

The newly opened Samsung experience store will have the Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 Edge along with the Galaxy Note 7. Moreover, it’ll have the Gear VR, the Gear S2, along with other variables and accessories from the company.

The move comes as even Apple is all set to launch Apple Stores in India later this year. The iPhone maker is known for having such experience stores across other international markets, including the UK and China, where prospective buyers can get a good feel of Apple products before buying them. Apple CEO Tim Cook made his first to the country to focus on capitalizing on growth prospects for the Indian market, in the face of declining sales in China and other key international markets.

However, the sourcing norm has always been a roadblock for Apple in India. As of now, Apple sells in the country via tie-up with distributors which include Redington, Ingram Micro and Bettel.
