Roposo is a social network that allows you to share photos and renders a chance to follow creative people while discovering new fashion trends.
Users can sign-in using their Facebook or Google account. Once the signing-in formalities are done and dusted, the app provides with a wide array of options in terms of choosing your ‘Interests’.
How Roposo works:
Based on the ‘interest’ selection, the newsfeed ropes in related feeds and topics. Fashion, Home décor, Make-up, Music, Adventure, and Accessories are amongst the other categories you can choose from.
Five is the minimum number of interests a user needs to select, and the count can go up 50. Yes, the app is generous in letting the user choose the number of topics that are meant to appear in the newsfeed.
Roposo gives the option of creating ‘hobby posts’ as the user can explore trends about travel, fashion, and make-up. You can post and share about your new dress, or you can probably post about one of your hobbies while adding an exciting info about the same. Travelling enthusiasts can unleash themselves by uploading destination photographs.
The interface is buttery smooth and pleasant to the eye. The photos appear vivid and people like your posts and have the option of sharing as well.
Roposo Features
Discovering people is an absolute delight because you get to swap according to your preference. A left swipe on the profile will skip whereas a right will put you on the followers list. Before you enter the swiping contest, you can open the profile and take a look at the user’s posts, likes, and other activities.
And with the latest update, Roposo has embedded ‘create video post’ feature as well, which lets the user capture up to 15 seconds of video feed. Additionally, Roposo also brings in posts according to user’s location as well. This is helpful in connecting with people in the vicinity.
But the usability does not end here. There are approx. 300 stores (like Jabong and Flipkart) in collaboration with Roposo. The ‘shop’ tab at the bottom helps you scroll through the options segregated into Categories and Trends. Buying made Simple.
