To cater the heat of the competition, Reliance Communications (RCom) has rolled out yet another attractive offer of Rs 299 rental plan under which the consumers will be benefited with unlimited text, call, and data. The offer has been unveiled by the company earlier today. The tariff advertisement teaser comes with a punchy tag line “Cheaper than a pair of shoes, a period of ” and the company claims that this will be the lowest monthly rental plan ever. However, the details new rental plan are not available currently.
Before this plan, Rcom previously unveiled Wi-Pod dongle bundle offer for INR 5,199 under which users get a WiFi dongle worth Rs 3200 with a new 4G SIM card with 1GB for one year. The offer also available under EMI scheme for 3, 6, 9, 12, 18, and 24 months with various bank credit cards. Nonetheless, Jio is ruling the competition at this point of the moment. Its current plan under Dhan Dhana Dhan offer provides consumers many lucrative offers like the Rs 399 in which users get unlimited call, text and 1GB data/day for a period of 84 days.
No doubt Jio is providing a cut throat competition to their rivals at this current market scenario. The telecom player like Vodafone, Airtel, Idea, and Rcom are regularly coming up with ranges of the attractive plans at much more marginal cost, But still, they cant match up the Jio market position. As Jio current offering of Rs 1500 featured phone clearly, indicates that the company eagerly wanted to take hold of Indian telecom market to a greater extent.
