Panasonic P66 Mega supporting 21 Indian languages, 2GB RAM launched at Rs. 7990

Panasonic P66 Mega with 21 Indian language support and 2GB RAM launched in India at Rs. 7,990. Available in Electric Blue, Rose Gold, and Russet Brown colour variants, the handset also features Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on the front and Asahi Dragontrail glass on the back panel.

Manufactured to empower people with localized version of Android as per their desire, Panasonic P66 Mega enable people to perform all call and web related operations in their native language.

Commenting on the launch of Panasonic P66 Mega, Pankaj Rana, Business Head – Mobility Division, Panasonic India revealed that to achieve success for the Digital India mission, Panasonic need to bridge the digital divide by connecting people to the digital world in their language.

Moreover, the integration of localized languages into smartphones will throw open a wide range of opportunities for mobile banking, online shopping, social networking and virtual entertainment.

Equipped with a 5-inch HD (720×1280) IPS display, P66 Mega boasts a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz, 2GB RAM in addition to 16GB of internal storage. Expandable up to 32GB via microSD card, the dual-SIM P66 Mega runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop skinned with Panasonic Icon UI.

Talking about camera specifications, P66 Mega sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash support in addition to a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter.

Backed by a 3200mAh battery, 8.4mm thick P66 smartphone features all major connectivity options like GPS, A-GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, FM radio, Bluetooth 2.1, and Micro-USB in addition to sensors like proximity and accelerometer.

To recall, Panasonic had launched Panasonic Eluga Turbo smartphone priced at Rs. 10,999 in January 2016 with better specifications than P66 Mega but with lesser battery capacity.
