Oppo launches Joy 3 in India at Rs. 7,990: Specs and Features

The Chinese Electronics Manufacturer, OPPO Electronics Corp. has launched its latest and affordable dual-SIM 3G smartphone named “Oppo Joy 3” in India with a price tag of Rs. 7,990.

Powered by a MediaTek MT6582 Quad-core 1.3GHz processor with 1 GB of RAM and Mali-400MP2 GPU, the smartphone features a 4.5-inch IPS FWVGA Capacitive Touchscreen with the screen resolution of 854 x 480 pixels.

The Oppo Joy 3 comes with a 5 Megapixel rear snapper and a 2 Megapixel front facing the camera. It also includes OPPO’s Pure Image 2.0+ core imaging technology along with new features like Beautify Feature, Panorama, Double Exposure, Audio Photo, GIF and HDR.

The Joy 3 smartphone offers 4 GB of built-in storage, which can be further expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card slot. The device runs ColorOS 2.0.1 based on Android 4.4.

Connectivity-wise, the Oppo Joy 3 has a dual-SIM 3G capability along with Wi-Fi 801.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and OTG support. Packed with 2,000mAh removable Li-po battery, the device offer 180 hours of standby time.

Commenting on the launch event, CEO of Oppo Mobiles India – Tom Lu said, “Indian market is their topmost priority, and they want to launch models across categories that combine style, technology and design.”

Dipped in White and Grey colors, the Oppo Joy 3 is now available in Indian market and will be available for purchase via authorized Oppo Stores and retail outlets.
