Ahead of the official launch of OPPO’s F3 smartphone, press renders and promotional images have been released. These images give us an idea about the looks and some of the specs.
Earlier, the device also appeared on GFXBench and Geekbench, where most of the specs were revealed.
The OPPO F3 has a metal body sporting a 5.5-inch FullHD display that is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. To back a great display the front packs a dual camera with a 16MP + 8MP config and 120-degree wide-angle lens. The primary camera is 13MP.
Last month the F3 Plus was launched, and from what we can make of the images, the F3 looks similar except a few changes. The split antenna cables at the back have been replaced by a single antenna.
It sports a 4GB RAM along with 64GB ROM that can be expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card. It is going to run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with ColorOS 3.0 skin.
The VoLTE device also features a hybrid Dual SIM. Backed by a 3,200 mAh battery, the F3 measures 153.3 × 75.2 ×7.3 mm and weighs 153 grams. As far as connectivity is concerned, the Oppo F3 supports a dual-band WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS.

The Oppo F3 is an addition to company’s ‘Selfie-Expert’ series of smartphones. With this smartphone, the focus is on the selfie camera again considering it comes with dual front camera setup.
The F3 is the second smartphone from the Chinese maker that has a dual front camera set up. The first one being, the F3 Plus.
