Both Oppo and OnePlus are fast-growing smartphones brand in India, where Oppo with its selfie-centric camera approach recently released F3 Plus with a dual front facing camera. Whereas OnePlus believes in making a power-packed smartphone and current offering OnePlus 3T with best of the specs you can buy in 2017.

Oppo F3 Plus comes with two (16+8 MP) front facing camera modules and one 16 MP rear camera. The dual camera setup for selfie camera is to capture wider selfies when needed. Oppo priced F3 Plus smartphone with Rs. 30,990 and if we look further, we can see that OnePlus 3T is a worthy competitor even with a bit lower price tag of Rs. 29,990. Both the smartphones have some distinctive features so let’s compare both smartphones to know which one is worth buying the smartphone.

Oppo F3 Plus vs OnePlus 3T: Design

The design of both the smartphones is pretty much similar with metal unibody design approach. Both comes with a plain front panel with a home button below the display which also works as a fingerprint sensor. The back of the OnePlus 3T looks much more beautiful than Oppo F3 Plus with a big square camera module bump and LED flash right at the center of the upper part of the smartphone body.

Oppo F3 Plus looks much similar to iPhone from the back with camera module on the top left corner. The only difference between the two is that Oppo has rounded corners than OnePlus 3T, so it totally depends on your choice which one you prefer. The thickness of both the smartphones is same, but OnePlus 3T is approximately 25 grams lighter than Oppo F3 Plus.

Oppo F3 Plus vs OnePlus 3T: Camera

Now comes the camera part, which the Oppo F3 Plus is hyped for! Both of the smartphones features 16 MP shooter on the back. Both of the cameras have nearly similar features except for the aperture size; OnePlus 3T has aperture size f/2.0 whereas Oppo F3 Plus has f/1.7 aperture size. Without any doubt, the Oppo F3 Plus camera is far better because of its large aperture size which helps it to capture clear pictures in low light conditions.

The front facing camera in Oppo F3 Plus is a dual camera setup; 16MP and 8MP, it can take wider selfies. OnePlus 3T comes with a 16 MP shooter on the front for selfies and can capture 1080p videos. When it comes to selfie, we can clearly see Oppo F3 Plus killing it.

Oppo F3 Plus vs OnePlus 3T: Performance

Well, there is no Android smartphone other than Google Pixel smartphones which can outperform OnePlus 3T but as we are comparing these two smartphones, so let’s talk about specs of both the phones. OnePlus 3T comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor with Adreno 530 GPU and 6 GB RAM. These are the best specs any smartphone have (Pixel has 4GB RAM) till now.

Oppo F3 Plus comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 octa-core processor with Adreno 510 GPU and 4 GB RAM. I am not saying that you should always go for 6 GB RAM smartphone but when the price is almost similar then what the point of buying one with the lesser RAM if performance is your buying preference?

Oppo F3 Plus vs OnePlus 3T: Features

OnePlus 3T comes with a Type-C port for charging and data syncing which is the fastest USB till now whereas Oppo F3 Plus still using the same old micro USB port for charging and data sharing. OnePlus 3T supports playing Xvid videos which Oppo F3 Plus can’t do; it only supports up to MP4 videos playback.

The battery in Oppo F3 Plus is 4000 mAh and it supports fast battery charging through VOOC Flash Charge. OnePlus 3T comes with a 3400 mAh battery with the fastest charging ever with Dash Charge. It charges the whole battery in less than an hour with dash charging.

Conclusion

Both of the smartphones tagged with the almost similar price, but the features and hardware are a lot better in OnePlus 3T. If you want to spend Rs. 30,000 then you should go for OnePlus 3T which give full value for your money. You can’t just buy a smartphone just for its camera; other hardware matters too, but if you are the one that values the Camera performance What do you guys thnk?
