OPPO has unveiled its latest entry-level camera phone, the OPPO A83. The new handset comes with a price tag of Rs. 13,990 and available to purchase via Amazon and Flipkart as well as offline retail stores. The A83 sports a full-screen display which is rarely seen in products which come under such a price range.

The OPPO A83 measures 5.7 inches in terms of its overall size, with a screen size of 5-inches 18:9 ratio which is a major improvement over OPPO’s past models. To complement the display effects of the full screen, the A83 resolution is 1440x720p, making every photo clearer and brighter. So if you are looking at a picture, video or playing a game, the display of the phone offers an incredibly wide visual experience.
OPPO A83 is the new generation selfie expert. The device comes preloaded with the OPPO’s A.I. Beauty Recognition technology which uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) that brings realistic and natural selfie experience to more young consumers. The smartphone sports features 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage that the user can expand up to 256GB via a micro SD card. The OPPO A83 is backed by a MediaTek MT6763T SoC clocked at 2.5GHz that runs on Android 7.1 Nougat. The phone is powered by 3180 mAh battery as a whole making the A83 a versatile product even after being an entry-level smartphone. The OPPO A83 will be available in two color options of Black and Gold.
In terms of camera, the OPPO A83 comes with an 8 MP front camera along with a 13 MP rear camera and uses the A.I. Beauty Recognition Technology that effortlessly helps you to capture best photos. In simple terms, the OPPO’s A.I. Beauty Recognition Technology can learn automatically once it has amassed enough imaging data. It can classify, recognize and beautify the portrait in three aspects: skin color and texture, gender, and age. Furthermore, the AI captures more than 200 facial points when a photo is taken which ensures that the facial contour is always intact regardless of the situation.
The OPPO A83 is also equipped with a face unlock feature. Besides, the OPPO has designed the A83 with its UFOs (UFO Curve Design Philosophy). This feature of the phone along with the full-screen configuration makes A83 an extremely cool and elegant device.
The OPPO A83 comes with three independent card slots, double Nano-SIM card slots, and a microSD card slot that enables the users to use two SIM cards and extend the memory up to 256GB. The phone also comes pre-installed with the new Color OS 3.2 operating system and the O-share file-sharing app which OPPO claims can transmit 6 to 7 ordinary photos in just a second.
