OnePlus has released the much-awaited OnePlus 3T in India starting at Rs. 29999 for the 64GB internal storage variant. However, you will have to shell out Rs. 34999 for the 128GB storage model. You will be able to purchase both variants of the newly launched OnePlus 3T exclusive from Amazon India from 12AM IST on December 14.
The main highlight of OnePlus 3T is the integration of an enhanced processor, a high capacity front-facing camera including a slightly larger battery than the OnePlus 3. Moreover, the company has introduced the new 128GB model. Hence, if you want to buy a future-proof smartphone you need to buy the 128GB model. This is because you cannot extend the storage capacity using microSD cards.
OnePlus 3T specifications
On the specifications front, the OnePlus 3T is equipped with a 5.5-inc FHD Optic AMOLED Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protected display, Snapdragon 821 processor, 6GB RAM. As mentioned above, the handset ships in both 64GB and 128GB storage variants. The phone is loaded with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow platform on top of OxygenOS. However, the company promised to deliver Android Nougat update before the end of 2016.
OnePlus 3T camera
The rear camera features a 16MP Sony IMX298 sensor alongside f/2.0 aperture, OIS, EIS, PDAF and autofocus support. Interestingly, the front camera also offers 16MP Samsung 3P8SP sensor alongside f/2.0 aperture.
OnePlus 3T provides support for dash charging
A 3400mAh battery completes the package, which is higher than 3000mAh in OnePlus 3. Moreover, the addition of dash charging functionality helps you to quickly charge the phone without causing any major heat.
Designed using an anodized aluminum metal unibody design, the latest OnePlus variant features a fingerprint sensor on the home button in addition to the alert slider. The handset includes all major connectivity features such as LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, and GPS.
To recall, OnePlus 3T was launched in November and was made available for sale in the US, Europe, and the UK. The 3T variant will be available in Gunmetal color variant. There are reports that a Soft Gold color variant will be launched soon.
