OnePlus 7T

The Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus has now sent press invites for the launch of OnePlus 7T-series in India. The event will be held at 7.00 pm at the Indira Gandhi Arena in New Delhi. And OnePlus will also be hosting an online event on OnePlus.com, and its Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube account for the US.

At the event on 26th, the company will be unveiling OnePlus 7T and OnePlus TV. Whereas, the OnePlus 7T Pro will be introduced later on 10th October 2019 at the Magazine London Theater in London at 16:00 BST. In addition to the launch dates, OnePlus has also confirmed that both the phones in 7T-series will now get a 90Hz display, including the regular model.

OnePlus 7T/ 7T Pro Specs (Expected)

If reports are to be believed, the OnePlus 7T will come with a 6.55-inch AMOLED display having an FHD+ resolution. Just like the Pro model, the regular version too will now bear support for 90Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ playback. And as usual, the phone will also sport an optical in-display fingerprint scanner.

Under the hood, the device is expected to be powered by the latest Snapdragon 855+ SoC with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. It’ll run on Android 9 Pie with OxygenOS on top and is said to pack a larger 3,800mAh battery with support for Warp Charge 30T.

For photography, the 7T could feature a circular-shaped triple rear module at the rear. It will come with a primary 48MP sensor, a 12MP telephoto lens with up to 3x zoom, followed by an ultra-wide 16-megapixel sensor. Just like its predecessor, the phone will settle with a 16MP front camera.

The OnePlus 7T Pro, on the other hand, will reportedly feature a larger 6.65-inch QHD+ AMOLED display with a 90-Hz refresh rate and in-display fingerprint sensor. Akin to the regular model, it’ll be powered by Snapdragon 855+ with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.

The camera setup too is likely to stay similar to the 7T, but the leaks suggest for the presence of an additional Time of Flight sensor. Anyways, we might see a larger 4,085 mAh battery here, with support for 30W Warp charging.

As for the Indian launch (Sep 26), the venue gates will open at 5.30 pm while registration starts at 6.15 pm and ends at 6.45 pm. Sales for tickets of the event which has been named ‘A New Era’, will begin on 20 September at 10.00 am IST.
