OnePlus 3 spotted on Chinese Online store for $369, to come in six variants

A product listing on OppoMart says that the new OnePlus 3 flagship phone by the Chinese company (to be released on a VR platform on 14th of this month) will come in six variants. The website mentions that the device comes at a price of $369. Based on previous records, it can be assumed that this price-tag is for the lowest model.

It says that there will be two RAM variants with three storage variants in each. The RAM variants are 4GB and 6GB, whereas the storage variants are 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB. The page also has a Specification and Description section below the device, which says that the phone packs:

  • OnePlus 3 (OnePlus A3000)
  • 5.5 inch, Full HD (1920×1080 pixels)
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor with 2.15GHz quad-core CPU, Adreno 530 GPU
  • 4G LTE connectivity
  • UFS 2.0 storage
  • 4GB/6GB of LP-DDR4 RAM
  • 16MP rear camera with Sony IMX298, 8MP front camera
  • Fingerprint scanner at the front
  • Custom OxygenOS with Android 6.0

In a recent sale on the 3rd of this month, the OnePlus VR went out of stock on Amazon within minutes. This release was essential for the phone launch event. The Loop VR is made in collaboration with AntVR. The headset is supposed to be set in space and offers a virtual shopping experience. This launch and shopping experience theme are said to replace the exclusivity deal that the company used for its previous flagship devices, saying that invites have a special place in the company’s history.

Another leak story revealed that the company is discontinuing the device’s iconic sandstone finish and adopting a metal unibody design, with an AMOLED display. The changes speak much for the company’s approach, as it promises to dethrone the giants and get a bigger share of the market. Opinionated blogs have gone as far as saying that OnePlus may soon take over Samsung as the biggest smartphone seller in the market, and one wouldn’t be surprised with the kind of responses that they have got.
