OnePlus 3 launch date, specs and features leaked

Chinese smartphone manufacturer OnePlus is all set to show off Its flagship this year. The phone is yet to be launched in the second quarter giving rise to several rumours and speculations for the moment.

With recent photo leaks, we now have a better idea about the appearance of the phone.
Revealing only the front & the bottom of the phone, twitter user, ‘The Malignant’, posted two ‘leaked’ images.
With the front looking like OnePlus two, the upcoming flagship is expected to carry the same home button-finger print scanner combo as well.

However, things appeared to be a little different for the bottom panel. Instead of accommodating two speaker grills like in OnePlus 2, the upcoming phone seems to have a single speaker grill.

In addition, The USB C-TYPE port is accompanied by the 3.5 mm headphone jack leaving the port in the middle like before.

Moving on, the ‘twitter bird’ did not reveal a lot about the phone. However, taking a closer look at the bottom, we cannot curb our guesses regarding the real panel. The rear panel appears sleek without the bump which was easily noticeable in the predecessor.

Maybe, as Carl Pei had suggested before, the company is all set to introduce a fresh design or a different real panel to begin with. Guess, we will have to be a little more patient for knowing this aspect.

According to earlier leaks, the 32GB and 64GB versions will be equipped with 4GB & 6GB rams respectively. Sporting a 5 inch full-HD display, OnePlus 3 is expected to come equipped with a snapdragon 820, and should run Oxygen OS based on Android 6.0.

Speculations or not, it is obvious that OnePlus 3 will pack benchmark specs. What’s even better for the user is, that Carl Pei has announced a ‘better buying process’ which might just be a little more convenient.
