Obi Worldphone SF1 now available on Amazon, price starts at Rs. 11,999


Obi Worldphone SF1 has expanded and started selling via with the sales started from 22nd of January, 2016. The smartphone comes in available in two variants i.e 16GB/2GB for Rs. 11,999 and 32GB/3GB for Rs. 13,999.

Recently, the former Apple CEO, John Sculley-backed company launched its flagship smartphone – Obi Worldphone SF1 in India exclusively in collaboration with NDTV venture – Gadgets360.


In terms of specifications, Obi Worldphone SF1 boasts a 5-inch JDI FHD In-Cell IPS display with screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels at 443 PPI. The display is further protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 4.

Powered by a 64-bit Octa-core Qualcomm MSM8939 Snapdragon 615 processor clocked at 1.5GHz and coupled with Adreno 405 GPU, the smartphone supports expandable storage up to 64GB via a microSD card.

Obi Worldphone SF1 sports a 13MP AF rear camera with LED flash support in addition to a 5MP front-facing camera with LED flash. The handset runs on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop with the Obi Lifespeed UI.

Connectivity-wise, the dual-SIM Obi Worldphone SF1 comes with 4G LTE support, HSPA+, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, Micro-USB and a 3.5mm headset jack. And a 3,000mAh battery powers the phone.
