Nokia Lumia 830, an upcoming Windows Phone 8.1 smartphone leaked

Nokia is reportedly working on as much as seven new Windows Phone 8.1 smartphones in the middle of now and the first half of next year. A few pictures of an obscure Windows Phone have been spotted online on the Chinese microblogging website — Weibo, which is charged to be the mid-range Lumia 830.

The device which is seen in the pictures above brags a polycarbonate body with aluminum casing and small camera at the back. Considering the device’s form factor, it is clear that there is no Pureview technology has been utilized at the time of manufacturing of this device.

This smartphone is said to be the Lumia 830 — the successor to the earlier Lumia 820, which launched in India last year.

Apart from the images we can notice available on Weibo, there is no other information about the rumored Lumia smartphone available right now. Introduced last year, the Lumia 820 sports a 4.3-inch WVGA show, Snapdragon S4 Plus processor, 1GB of RAM, 8-megapixel rear-facing camera, 8GB internal storage, and a 1,650mAh battery.

As mentioned above, Nokia is reportedly working on seven new Windows Phone 8.1 smartphones. These incorporate the Lumia 530; two mid-range smartphones codenamed Tesla and Superman, and high-end device codenamed Mclaren. In 2015, the company is likely to dispatch four other devices codenamed Makepeace, Dempsey, Cityman and Talkman.

Since obtaining Nokia’s mobile division, Microsoft doesn’t seem to be having plans for rebranding its mobile unit at all, nor has the company announced many new devices compared to other ecosystems. However, the Lumia 930 and the Lumia 630 were on the front at recently happened Build 2014.
