Microsoft has announced the launch of Nokia 230 Dual SIM in India. Priced at Rs. 3,949, the handset is available in Silver and Dark Silver color option at BestBuy.com. Featuring Dual SIM slots, the Nokia 230 boasts a premium metallic finish with aluminium back cover, which provides enough sturdiness and grip to the hand.
Announcing the launch, Ravi Kunwar, Director – North, Microsoft Mobile Devices, said that Nokia 230 Dual SIM is manufactured to address the growing demand of people for a premium non-touch phone with enhanced features like sandblasted aluminium cover.
The phone consists of enhanced features not only in the area of design but also usage. The company is confident that consumers will relate to the value that the device will add to their mobile phone experience, adds Kunwar.
Equipped with a 2.8-inch QVGA (240×320) LCD display, the Nokia 230 Dual SIM features an internal storage of 256MB but can be expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card. With support for Micro-SIM cards, the phone works under Nokia Series 30+ OS and includes preloaded apps such as Bing Search, Opera Mini browser and MSN Weather.
Featured with a 2-megapixel rear and front cameras, which is touted as a major highlight of the phone, the Nokia 230 Dual SIM features a thickness of 10.9mm and weighs only 92 gms.
Powered by a 1,200mAh battery, the Nokia 230 Dual SIM includes major connectivity features like GPRS/ EDGE, Bluetooth v3.0, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The battery has the capability to deliver up to 23 hours and 22 days of talk time and standby time respectively.
