Nintendo Switch is an integrated home console with powerful features

Nintendo Switch, announced by the company through a trailer is an integrated handheld system, a gaming tablet and a dockable console. With over three minutes of runtime, Nintendo Switch enables you to play the same game title anywhere according to your requirements. You are free to choose with whom you would like to play.

According to Nintendo, the mobility of a handheld is now added to the power of a home gaming system to enable unprecedented new video game play styles. Moreover, with advanced controls, gamers will be able to enjoy both single and multiplayer games in an elegant manner.

Expected to be available in March 2017, the Nintendo Switch serves as a handheld, a follow-up console to the Wii U and a convertible tablet. The trailer reveals the fact that the console is very focused on multiplayer gaming with the ability to control others in the same room.

In Nintendo Switch, you can make use of “Joy-Con” controllers to turn the tablet into a Nintendo Wii U-like game pad. Each controller has four buttons and an analog stick similar to that of Wii U game pad. Even though it’s portable like Nintendo 3DS, the console is larger in size.

You can easily detach the controllers and the integrated kickstand comes out. This will convert your console into an iPad and game controller. The Joy-Con controllers have an ability to slide into a Joy-Con Grip accessory to turn into a full stand-alone controller. With the ability to slide into Nintendo Switch Dock, the console automatically turns into a TV-connected console.

After releasing the trailer, Nintendo disclosed that they are working with several publishers such as Ubisoft, Konami, EA, Capcom, Bethesda, and Epic. As of writing this, we don’t have any information about the approximate price of Nintendo Switch. It remains to be seen as to whether Nintendo Switch ships with dock and Joy-Con controllers.
