Namotel ‘Make in India’ 22 Ct Gold Metal Body Smartphone Coming Soon!

So far, we have seen that the phones launched under the ‘Make in India’ initiative are decently equipped and their USP has been their price. But this is a different story altogether. With exorbitant specs and flashy pictures, Namotel is housing the ‘VVIP’ (model name) in all its glory.

Although the smartphone pictures are for illustration purposes, but at the same time, it is a little difficult to ‘believe’ the spec sheet of the phone. Equipped with a 22-carat gold body, the ‘Namotel VVIP’ is trying to justify the attached moniker. A deca-core processor with a massive 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM will be the first of its kind on any smartphone. The developers have mentioned that this smartphone will come along with a 5.5-inch 4K display.

In addition, the phone will have a 21-megapixel rear shooter and an 8megapixel front cam; camera details are ready to compete with all the flagship devices. What’s interesting to mention here is the 10,000 mAh battery. As of now, not even a single phone has the privilege to rely on such a gigantic battery. A fingerprint sensor will also be embedded that will take care of all the security concerns. This is not a surprise as fingerprint sensor has become a new norm in the smartphones, whether budget or high-end.

Supporting 4G, the phone will have the space to accommodate two sim cards. However, the website does not have complete details if both the sim trays can house 4G sim cards. The ‘VVIP’ will run on Android Marshmallow and website has also mentioned some details regarding the delivery procedures. It will be delivered outside India as well. But, as of now, no one has access to all the details regarding the purchasing process or procedure and other terms & conditions.

All in all, ‘Namotel VVIP’ seems more of a speculated rather than a practical project. Guess we will just have to wait how the entire episode unfolds.
