A low-cost version of the Moto X smartphone is likely to be unveiled on November 13 this year. Following an image tweeted by the internet tipster @evleaks, people are presuming the image to be that of Motorola’s next smartphone, a cheaper version of Moto X, the Moto G smartphone.
As per the @evleaks tweet, the Moto G will carry the force of a S4 Pro (1.5GHzx4) processor, and shall flaunt a 4.7-inch display with 720p resolution, as well as an 8-megapixel camera. Rumors are that the phone will be available in two variants, 8GB and 18GB.
Besides @evleaks, off late, GSMArena had also posted a leaked Phones4U promo card which contains details about the much anticipated Moto G. According to the GSM Arena leaks, the Moto G would run on Android 4.3 operating system. And the price is expected to be around $215 off-contract. Regarding the battery, the post claims that the Moto G would come packed with a 1, 950 mAh battery.
Nevertheless, it’s too early to believe in the rumors as both @evleaks and GSMArena are making different claims. While @evleaks maintains that the new Moto G will feature an 8-megapixel camera, the GSMArena asserts about a 5-megapixel camera. Also, contrary to @eveleaks’ claim, the leaked promos maintain that Motorola’s forthcoming smartphone will be powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor.
