Moto X (2016) with dual camera and super narrow bezel surfaces on web

The renders of Moto X (2016) with dual front speakers and selfie flash has leaked. This development is after the recent surfacing of Moto M and Moto M Plus on the web. Meanwhile, popular tech leaker Evan Blass took to Twitter and shared an image with #mysterymoto tag.

The new Moto X smartphone started to hit the rumor mills early 2016. Based on what we know so far, the handset will have a dual-camera module and 4K video recording capabilities among others.

Coming to naming convention, multiple reports confirm that the upcoming handset could be named as ‘Moto X Style 2016’ or ‘Lenovo Moto X Style (2016)’. Previously, a Moto X (2016) smartphone with model number XT1650 was spotted on benchmarking website GeekBench with specifications.

Moto X (2016) Specifications

As per the leaks, the upcoming Moto X handset will sport a 5.5-inch Quad HD display (2560×1440 pixels), Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB RAM and Adreno 530 graphics loaded with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. The benchmark also revealed a default internal storage of 32GB without mentioning anything about the expansion slot.

Moto X (2016) comes with dual camera

Talking about the optics, the Moto X (2016) is expected to ship with a 21MP + 16MP dual camera sensors on the rear. If this report turns out to be true, then the camera sensors will be the largest dual-camera module released in the recent times. On the front, you can expect a 5MP snapper.

Since there is a spike in the dual-camera integration by Apple, HTC, Google and Xiaomi, we expect more companies to follow the same path. The forthcoming Moto X (2016) will be equipped with an at least 4000mAh battery with USB Type-C port.

If Motorola manages to unveil Moto X (2016) after January, you can expect the addition of Android 7.0 Nougat since Marshmallow will be out-dated around that time. We don’t have any information about the price but the handset will be cost more than existing Moto handsets.
