Even though the Moto Z series is similar to that of Moto X, the company will not ditch the X variant since both smartphones offer something special for target customers. If the surfaced reports of Moto X (2016) turn out to be true, the company expects to achieve more sales because of the integrated dual-camera feature.

According to industry analysts, the upcoming Moto X will find difficult to tap the market since the features are more or less similar to that of Moto Z and Moto Z Force.
