Finally, the Redmond-based operating system giant – Microsoft has unveiled its much-awaited “Project Spartan,” Windows’s 10 new web browser for the Technical preview version of its Windows 10 operating system. The new Spartan Web browser will be replacing Internet Explorer (IE) browser.

Spartan Web browser will be available across all Windows 10 devices with some additional feature and Cortana, company’s inbuilt digital assistant. This will make reading, typing, sharing and discovery easier and comfy for users.

By getting Cortana into the browser, Microsoft acts to be moving in the direction of launching Cortana on every screen, where company vends a stand.

According to TechCrunch’s report, the new build number is 10047 10049, up a total of 6 from the previous release.

We got the first appearance at Project Spartan at Microsoft’s Windows 10 event in January, 2015. The browser runs on a brand new rendering engine intended at speeding up performance while offering new-fangled, sharing-centric functionality.

The Spartan Web browser sports a new design, which will put emphasis on the page instead of the browser. It also features new inking abilities, which will allow the users to type or write directly on the page, comment on what they find fascinating and clip what the users want to share the ‘Web Note’ over social network or e-mail.

The Windows 10 Preview with Spartan Web browser is yet to have customer rollout. Microsoft has permitted the users to continue using Internet Explorer 11 web browser, supported by Windows 7, Windows 8.1, and Windows 10. The consumers will be able to mark it as their default browser through group policy.

The preview symbols the first release of Project Spartan. However, Microsoft is still tuning the Spartan Web browser based on the feedback of the previews.
