Micromax announced that it would put its newest Spark 3 on flash sale through online partner Snapdeal. The phone will retail at a price of 4,999 on the 14th of April at 12 p.m. until stocks last.
Registrations for the flash sale began from the 7th of April 5 p.m. onwards and this will be the second flash sale for Micromax’s Spark series of phones. Micromax’s Spark 1 and Spark 2 phones sold in excess of 1 million units within the first 6 months of their release and have received over 87,000 positive ratings ratings with consumers marking them 4.5 out of 5 stars for their performance. . The last time Micromax held a flash sale, 94% of its customers made a recommendation to their acquaintances about the devices.
Micromax Spark 3 Specs
The new Spark 3 is targeted at multimedia fans and comes along with a large 5.5” full-HD display screen. The device is powered by a 1.3Ghz Quad Core processor and houses a 1GB RAM and 8GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 32GB with the help of an external memory card. The back of the Spark 3 comes fitted with an 8MP auto-focus camera and the front has a 5MP lens for selfies. With a decent 2,500mAh battery, the phone will ship in with Android’s Lollipop 5.1 pre-loaded onto it and will be available in 2 colours of Black and Champagne Gold to choose from.
The phone offers dual-SIM capabilities and comes with support for 3G networks, Bluetooth connectivity as well as FM Radio and has a 3.5mm jack along with a 1.5CC Box Speaker for good audio playback.
