Micromax Neo 14-inch Windows 10 laptop launched for Rs. 17990

After launching Alpha and Ignite series of laptops, Micromax has announced a new Windows 10 laptop called the Micromax Neo. Primarily targeted at students and young professionals, the laptop has been priced at Rs. 17,990 and will be an Amazon exclusive. Micromax is offering a one year warranty on the laptop from the date of purchase. In addition, Amazon is also offering EMI options for credit card holders of all major banks.

Micromax Neo Specs

In terms of specifications, the Micromax Neo features a 14-inch display featuring a 1366×768 pixel resolution. Under the hood,the laptop is powered by a 1.6 GHz Intel Pentium N3700 processor clocked upto 2.40 GHz. Memory options on the Micromax Neo include 4GB of RAM and 500GB of hard disk drive, which can be further expanded via microSD slot. In term of OS on board, the laptop runs Windows 10 out-of-the-box.

Other features include microphone jack, a 3.5mm headphone jack, an HDMI port along with dual speakers for voice calling. It also includes a USB 3.0 port, two USB 2.0 ports along with a memory card reader. In terms of connectivity, the Micromax Neo comes with Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0. While juicing the  laptop is a 4800mAh battery. Besides, there’s also a 1-megapixel webcam for Skype and video calling which sits right above the display. As for dimensions, the Micromax Neo measures 237x431x21 mm and weighs 1.5 kilograms.

Besides, the company also announced its Ignite and Alpha series of Windows 10 laptops last month. The Micromax Ignite was launched at Rs 18,990 and is a Flipkart exclusive. While the Micromax Alpha was launched last month for Rs. 26,990, which is also available exclusively on Flipkart.

While the Neo and Ignite share a similar set of specifications, besides the 1TB hard drive on the latter. The Micromax Alpha is a high-end laptop featuring a 15.6 HD display, an Intel Core i3 fifth-generation processor clocked at 1.6GHz, 6GB of RAM and 500GB of HDD storage further expandable to upto 1TB. It has a 4-cell battery which is claimed to last up to 4.7 hours and runs Windows 10 out-of-the-box.
