Indian smartphone manufacturer Macromax launched its latest phone The ‘Canvas Sliver 5’ on Thursday in India.
The company claims the smartphone that is just 5.1 mm and weighs 97 gm, is the world’s slimmest and lightest 4G device.
The smartphone will be made available in Indian stores later this month and has been priced at Rs. 17,999.
During the launch, the company’s CEO Vineet Taneja said, “We will try to align the devices with the evolving needs of new-age users, and the latest smartphone is the testimony to this vision.”
The device comes along with an Airtel 4G SIM and data offer.
Airtel claims the 4G data value will get doubled as soon as the customer activated the data services.
The phone has a true HD AMOLED Screen that will keep scratches at bay.
The company claims the new Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection makes it slimmer by 42.8%.

Taneja also added, “Going forward, you will see a lot of innovation in customer service.
