Micromax launches Canvas Plex Tab for Rs. 12,999

Indian smartphone manufacturer Micromax has launched the new tablet in the Indian market known as, Canvas Plex Tab. Micromax designed this tablet to cater the media junkies audience in the mid range market segment. As the company is teamed up with the digital platform Eros Now to provide users a plethora of media contents like music videos, TV shows, and Bollywood movies. All this package will come with a one-year subscription to Eros Now digital service.

Coming to the specification, The tablet packed with 8 inches IPS WSVGA display which comes with 1024×600 resolution. The tablet is powered by the 32bit quad-core MediaTek MT8382W/M chipset clocked at 1.3GHz and paired with a 3GB RAM, and 32GB of internal storage. The tablet runs on the Android Lollipop 5.1 operating system out of the box.

The Canvas Plex Tab is equipped with a 5MP Rear Camera which comes with a F/2.2 aperture and 720p video recording, While on the front, there is a 2MP selfie camera. The Connectivity option includes 4G, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, and Micro USB. The tablet is fuelled with a 3000mAh Li-ion battery which claims to provide a 168.5hrs of standby time and 9 hours of talk time.


The Canvas Plex Tab is also enriched by DTS sound feature which provides crystal clear dynamic sound for an immersive audio experience. We recommended that you use the high impedance earphone or headphone in order to get the full benefit from the DTS soundstage. The Tablet is come with a price tag of Rs.12,999 and will be available at the retail stores from September 1.
