Micromax has established a strategic partnership with OYO in a bid to provide a seamless hotel booking experience. As part of the agreement, OYO’s tech-enabled booking system will be thrown open to Micromax customers.
Micromax and OYO will work in tandem to provide a simplified user interface, exclusive discount offers including a seamless booking experience directly from the Micromax gadget. The main purpose of the deal is to provide a unique native experience within the gadgets manufactured by Micromax.
According to the terms of the agreement, Micromax users will be able to get exclusive deals from within their Micromax handsets through AROUND Steroid launcher. Moreover, customers will be able to receive instant updates for exclusive offers provided by OYO.
Commenting on the partnership, Rahul Sharma, Co-Founder, Micromax Informatics disclosed that Micromax will provide comfortable hotel stay across 200 cities in India. This includes exclusive offers deeply integrated into Micromax in-house platforms. He added that customers can enjoy the deep integration of OYO and avail exclusive offers anytime
in India.
Going forward, Micromax will build native integration via built-in services. This includes AROUND-Steroid Launcher or factory loading of the popular hotel booking app on select handsets. Moreover, Micromax customers will be able to enjoy the recently introduced feature on OYO that facilitate early check-ins at various hotels across the country. The deal envisages 25 percent instant discount and 100 percent cashback on checkout, which enable customers to optimize travel plans.
