Micromax Informatics has launched two new smartphones in its Canvas family: Canvas Juice 3 and Canvas Juice 3+, in India on September 15, 2015.
Both these smartphones have been launched while keeping in mind the ever-increasing demands of the Indian Consumers as they are packed with ultra-long lasting 4,000 mAh batteries. Juice 3 is equipped for 14 hours of talk time and Juice 3+ for 12 hours.
At the launch event, Vineet Taneja, CEO of Micromax, stated that the company has introduced these two smartphones in Canvas Juice series with the aim to provide heavy duty marathon batteries to their buyers so that they can accomplish their work and entertainment requirements without any interruption.
While talking about the features and specifications of both the phones, you will see that Micromax Canvas Juice 3 and Canvas Juice 3+ are almost similar devices with Juice3+ having 5.5 inch HD IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and Juice 3 has 5-inch HD IPS display with same protection. The pixel resolution of both panels is same as 1280 x 720, giving Juice 3+ a PPI of 267 and Juice 3 a PPI of 297. Micromax Juice 3 comes with 2-megapixel front camera sensor with 8GB storage while Juice 3+ has the 5-megapixel front camera with 16 GB internal storage.
If we look at the rest of the hardware of both these smartphones, we will see that it remains almost same. 1.3GHz quad-core processor powers both the devices and have 2GB of RAM. They support 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with the LED flash and allows you to auto-focus.
Both of them run on Android Lollipop OS & support 3G HSPA+, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, Micro-USB 2.0 and a 3.5mm audio jack port.
