Micromax A114 Canvas 2.2 available for Rs.12,999

A114 Canvas 2.2 is the next mid-range phablet by Micromax to be listed on its official website. Therefore, we can expect that Micromax will soon be launching A114 Canvas 2.2 in the Indian market. However, the company has not reveled a price of this smartphone yet.

Talking about the specifications, Micromax A114 Canvas 2.2 device weighs 147grams and measures 145x73x9.7 mm. It is a dual SIM phablet, running Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS out of the box. It features a 5-inch qHD IPS display with resolution of 540×960 pixels. It supports GSM+GSM and has provision for Micro-SIM cards instead of regular SIMs. The phablet sports a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582M processor along with 1GB of RAM.


Micromax A114 Canvas 2.2 offers an 8MP camera along with autofocus and flash support. It has 2MP front-facing camera. It provides users a 4GB of inbuilt storage, which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. This phone is powered by 2000mAh battery, increasing its efficiency with up to 7hour of talk time and 290 hours of standby time. Micromax A114 Canvas 2.2 comes with connectivity options such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPRS, EDGE, GPS/ AGPS and 3G and sensors like G sensor, light sensor, and proximity sensor. Micromax A114 Canvas 2.2 is available for Rs.12,999 on Flipkart.

At the other hand, Micromax had recently launched Bolt A61, a budget Android 4.1 smartphone for Indian consumers. It is also a dual SIM phone along with support for dual standby mode. It has a 4-inch TFT display with a resolution of 480×800 pixels. This phone comes with 1GHz Spreadtrum Sc7710 processor along with 256MB of RAM. In addition to this, Bolt A61 has 512MB inbuilt storage, which is further expandable up to 16GB via microSD card

Bolt A61 offers 2MP rear camera along with a VGA front-camera and LED flash support. This device is packed with a 1500mAh battery, which will offer users a talk time of 3.5 hours and stand-by time up to 160 hours.
