Mahindra Gusto 125 to be available in February after Auto Expo 2016

Mahindra Two Wheelers has officially revealed its much awaited 125cc Scooter, Mahindra Gusto 125 at a glittering ceremony in Pune. It resembles the Gusto 110, which is already available in the market. The latest scooter from Mahindra will be in showrooms shortly after the Auto Expo 2016.

The Mahindra Gusto 125 will much similar to its cousin Gusto 110 and shares features like height adjustable seat, remote flip key, front kick mechanism, etc.

The automatic transmission scooter has sophisticated safety features like LED pilot lamps, remote flip key with guide lamp and follow-me-home headlamp. It boasts a 12-inch wheel, a convenient front kick mechanism and also has a storage space under the display panel where you can store your valuables like cell phone and goggles.

The Mahindra 125 packs greater punch and features. You get a 124.57 cc four-stroke, air-cooled, M-TEC engine that produces 8.5BHP of power at 7000 rpm and 10Nm of peak torque at 5,500 rpm with CVT. The scooter has 130 mm drum brakes and tubeless tires.

Mahindra claims that its M-TEC power train also comes with a heavy duty clutch and a bigger carburetor equipped with load sensing multi-curve ignition and low friction piston rings which give the Mahindra Gusto 125 the unsurpassed overall pickup and mileage in its class. The scooter’s fuel efficiency has not been revealed but is expected to be around 60 km.

The Mahindra Gusto 125 will be available in four color options i.e. Orange Rush, Bolt White, Monarch Black and Regal Rod. It will be priced a bit more than 100 version, and the Gusto 125 could have price tag Rs 7-8 thousand higher than the existing variant. It will be rubbing shoulders with Honda Activa 125 and Suzuki Access 125.
