This new version of the UI is entirely different from its predecessor, and it is packed with some useful shortcuts and features to make the best use of the rear camera capabilities as the LG V30 is the world’s first smartphone to feature a F/1.6 lens aperture. It allows users to utilize different shooting modes such as auto, grid shot, snap shot and match shot which are clubbed together in one menu. Further, the camera’s manual modes like white balance, shutter speed, aperture and ISO can now be accessed through a new feature called “Graphy.”

On the other hand, LG V30 also features “Quick Video Editor “app where users can quickly create their content through pictures and video files. This time LG has opted for a “Floating Bar” instead of the secondary display which was featured in previous gen V20 and V10 handsets. The Floating Bar can be customized easily according to the user’s preferences and can vanish from the display at any point in time.

The LG V30 also rocks the Always-on Display (AOD) feature along with advanced security feature like Face Scanner. This latest security feature helps users to unlock the phone even when the display is off. Moreover, the V30 is also packed with Qualcomm Aqstic voice UI technology that supports always-on and always-listening capabilities.

To recall, LG V30 is likely to be sporting 6 inches Full Vision P-OLED display, Snapdragon 835 chipset coupled with top of the line Adreno GPU, a dual rear camera with F/1.6 aperture and 64GB ROM. Nonetheless, the device may come in two RAM variants i:e 4GB/6GB with 6000-series Aluminium body aesthetics and IP68 certification. The LG V30 is all set to go official on August 31st right ahead of the IFA event. Stay tuned for more coverage.
