The South Korean giant LG has launched the LG Q8 smartphone aka LG V20 mini version in Korea today. LG Q8 is a flagship smartphone which comes with IP67 ratings and makes this phone water and dust repellent. The major highlight of the phone is the rear dual camera setup which is quite similar to V20 configuration and a 32Bit Audio DAC.
The LG Q8 is packed with 5.2 inches Quad HD display and a 2.1 inches secondary display which comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. The phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset coupled with Adreno 530 GPU and 4GB LPDDR4 RAM. The phone comes with a 32GB UFS2.0 of internal storage which is further expandable up to 2TB via microSD. The smartphones have a fingerprint sensor on the back.
On the camera front, the phone is packed with a rear dual camera set up which consists of a 16MP primary lens comes with f/1.8 aperture, and dual-tone LED Flash. While the secondary camera has an 8MP wide angle lens. On the front, there is a 5MP shooter which comes with f/1.9 aperture and 120 degrees wide angle lens.
Another important of the phone is it ESS SABRE ES9218 Quad DAC chipset, and its tuning is done by B&O Play. It is a 32Bit audio chip which produces great dynamic sound and deep bass with high impedance headphone. The phone has a three high-quality mic aka High AOP Mic which can record 24-bit high-resolution audio.
The connectivity option includes 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C. The phone is measured at 149 x 71.9 x 8mm and it weighs around 146g. The LG Q8 is fuelled by 3000mAh non-removable battery which with Quick Charge 3.0. The phone comes in two color variants i:e Pink and Titan and comes with a price tag of $545 (INR 34,960). The phone will be available from August 25.
