LG has launched a new mid-range 3G smartphone, LG Max for Rs. 10,990 in the Indian market.
In spite of its name signifying that this may be a beast of a smartphone, the specifications of the LG Max are not too appealing. The LG Max sports a 5-inch FWVGA display with a screen resolution of 480 x 854 pixels.
Powered by a Quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz and coupled with 1GB of RAM, the LG Max offers 8GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card slot.
The LG Max comes with an 8MP BSI rear snapper with LED flash and a 5MP front-facing snapper. The camera of the device comes with Gesture Shot and Selfie Flash features.
The LG Max runs on latest Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system. Whereas, the connectivity options of the handset includes 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS/GPS, 3.5mm Audio Jack and Micro-USB 2.0. And a 2,540mAh Li-ion battery completes the package.
The LG Max will be available in both Single SIM and Dual-SIM variant and comes in three different color options Gold, Titan and White.
Currently, LG Max is not listed by any e-commerce vendor, but we assume that company will roll out the smartphone through online and offline retail channels soon.
