Past reports suggest that LG’s next flagship handset, the LG G7, is expectd to launch in March and will go on sale sometime in April. Now, Korean publication ETNews has alledgedly revealed key specifications of the handset.

According to the report, the LG G7 is expected to get powered by the next-gen Snapdragon 845 processor bundled with 6GB of RAM. Up front, the handset will feature the same FullVision OLED display found on the LG V30. Other rumord features on the LG G7 include IP68 certification, FM radio, iris scanner, as well as wireless charging.

The handset is also expected to come with Quick Charge 4.0. The report also notes that the LG G7 will feature dual rear cameras as well as dual selfie cameras.

ETNews also notes that LG will begin mass production of the LG G7 in March, which is expected to go in sale in South Korea by mid or late April. Also, the report notes that its highly unlikely that the company will release the LG G7 at MWC 2018 next month. That being said, Samsung’s mobile chief DJ Koh has confirmed that the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ will be unveiled next month in Barcelona during MWC 2018.

LG typically uses the latest top-end chipset for its G series. Though, last year, the company had to settle with the older Snapdragon 821 chipset for its LG G6 flagship as Samsung had acquired initial stocks of Snapdragon 835 for its Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ flagships.

Now, that the successor of the LG G6 is expected to debut a bit late and Samsung’s Galaxy S9 range will launch in March, chances are that LG may be able to power its upcoming G7 flagship with the next-gen Snapdragon 845 processor – which will also power the upcoming Galaxy S9 and S9+.

More details about the LG G7 are likely to surface in the near future. Until then, keep checking back for more.
