Lenovo has officially unveiled its new smartphone called the Vibe C2 in Russia. The device is now listed on Lenovo’s Russian site though without any pricing or availability details. The smartphone will be available in black and white colour options.

In terms of specifications, the smartphone features a 5-inch IPS HD display, a 1GHz quad-core processor bundled with 1GB of RAM. The Vibe C2 offers 8GB of inbuilt storage expandable up to 32GB via microSD slot. The dual-SIM smartphone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box with Vibe UI on top. Cameras on the Vibe C2 include an 8MP rear snapper with LED flash and 5MP front-facing camera.

Juicing up the smartphone is a 2,750 mAh battery while connectivity options include 4G, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB port, FM Radio and a 3.5mm jack.

The company is yet to announce the global launch and availability details of the Lenovo Vibe C2. We can, however, expect the handset to launch in other international markets as well in the near future.

Going by its specs sheet, the Lenovo Vibe C2 will likely cater to budget buyers in the sub-Rs. 10,000 price bracket. Just last month, Lenovo launched the Vibe K5 for Rs. 6,999 following the launch of its high-end variant – the K5 Plus in April. The Vibe K5 was recently made available via its first open sale earlier this month on Amazon, implying you don’t have to wait in a queue and register in advance to buy the device.

Key specs on the Lenovo Vibe K5 include 5-inch HD display, an octa-core Snapdragon processor bundled with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of inbuilt storage expandable up to 32GB via microSD slot, 13MP and 5MP rear and front cameras respectively along with a 2,750 mAh battery.
