Lenovo has launched the much-awaited Lenovo Phab 2 smartphone with 4050mAh battery in Gunmetal Grey and Champagne Gold color variants at Rs. 11,999. The main highlight of the phone is the integration of a 6.4-inch display and 4050mAh battery. The phone will be available for purchase on Flipkart from December 9.

In November, Lenovo had launched the Phab 2 Plus at Rs. 14999. However, we don’t have any information as to when the company will launch the Phab 2 Pro, which is the Google Tango-enabled smartphone in India.
The main difference between Lenovo Phab 2 and Phab 2 Plus is that the Phab 2 includes a low-resolution display with a downgraded camera. You will not find a fingerprint sensor as well. You will not be able to take advantage of a large display with the HD display. However, the phone will be useful for beginners and senior citizens, who carve for a large display.

Moreover, the Phab 2 also ships with advanced augmented reality (AR) effects infused inside the camera app. The handset also offers 3 microphones to not only record audio but also to provide noise cancellation capabilities.
Lenovo Phab 2 features Dolby Audio Capture 5.1 sounding technology paired with active noise cancellation with dedicated microphone.

On the specifications front, the Lenovo Phab 2 features a 6.4-inch IPS HD display, MediaTek MT8735 processor, Mali-T720MP2 graphics paired with 3GB RAM. The handset offers an ample storage of 32GB storage, which can be expandable up to 128GB. Loaded with Android 6.0 Marshmallow, the Phab 2 includes hybrid dual-SIM slots capable of supporting micro SIMs.
Lenovo Phab 2 is equipped with a 13MP rear camera sensor alongside LED Flash and PDAF support. For selfie freaks, the Phab 2 offers a 5MP sensor with an 85-degree wide-angle lens.
In addition to 4G VoLTE, the Lenovo Phab 2 also provides support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS support. The 4050mAh battery will be capable of delivering excellent backup. Nowadays, smartphone manufacturers are integrating 4000mAh batteries to attract customers. With a weight of 225 grams, the Phab 2 handset measures 9.6 mm in thickness.
