Lenovo owned Motorola has revealed the Moto G5 Plus in Indian market starting today. Lenovo showcased the fifth generation G series smartphones last month at MWC in Barcelona. Moto G5 Plus is priced at Rs. 14,999 for 3GB RAM+16GB ROM and Rs. 16,999 for 4GB+64GB variant, and are available on Flipkart exclusively.
Motorola has notably worked on the smartphone and improved the rear camera this time to compete directly with other Chinese budget smartphones. Motorola will only release the Moto G5 Plus variant in India, and the Moto G5 is yet to announce.
With Moto G5 Plus, Motorola decided to replace the plastic body with the Aluminum 6000 body and got the new look for the rear camera which looks a lot similar to Moto Z series smartphones. The display is a 5.2 inches IPS panel with Full HD resolution, and it will be running Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. The smartphone will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC coupled with 4GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage for the upper end variant.
Motorola Moto G5 Plus will also feature the Google Assistant just like the Google Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones. The battery is similar to the previous generation of Moto G which is 3000 mAh and will provide more backup than before because of the battery optimized Snapdragon 625 processor. Moto G5 will also feature NFC and Turbo Charge technology for fast charging as always.
